The European Tourism Futures Institute took part in this year's International Tourism Fair (ITB Berlin) from 6th - 8th March, 2013. During the ITB Future day on 6th March, the subject: “Consumer Behaviour and Travel Patterns in Times of Deleveraging and Austerity” was discussed. The keynote was conducted as an interview by Albert Postma, Professor Scenario Planning of ETFI. He talked about the changes in consumer behaviour in times of crisis with Frank Oostdam, who is the managing director and chairman of the Netherlands Association of Travel Agents and Tour Operators (ANVR).
